Grab a cuppa

Hello My crafty friends, once again I am sorry for the lack of blogging- I've  been  really busy with getting  the new premises ready.

This post might be a long one , so get a cuppa and have a minute with me!   Here are a couple of photos of my conservatory, all packed up and ready to go last week! My house looks like I've moved out! This was only about half of it!

Here was the empty (ish)  room on Bessell lane,  before I got my hands on it!

And here is the room now! (you can just see Scooby having a rest after a hard day) with his mummy)!

What do you think?

Here are a couple of cards done over the last couple of  weeks- this first one is from Marilyn using alcohol inks! a lot neater than the one I made! well done Marilyn.

This is a lovely card by Jo, who likes the distressed look, and really takes her time to get the card just right.

This is I think the best card Marilyn has made so far- Exquisite! Again using creative expression stamp set.

Here we have a montage of cards made by Jennifer:

Here are the cards made this Friday by Jenny, Maureen and Glenis.
I haven't got a photo of the original card that the class worked with to show you- but I think the ones that Jenny and Maureen made were  better than the one I designed- the colour matching of the papers and the stamping in the orange colour is so perfect!

I used stampin up inks- and the creative expression stamp set.

 PERFECTION!!

I love the way Glenis offset the greeting, otherwise it could have got lost in the design- clever!

Ill try and be more efficient at taking photos (and blogging them for you to see) (honest)!!
I'm off now to start tidying the house-

One last photo- Brian and Darcy have found the smallest space to snuggle up into, ahh

Take care and see you soon.

Hi Folks,
Here is a peek at  my new 8x8 canvases I have been loving working on these for sometime now!
I hope to have them ready to put on Etsy over the next week, although....

I am expecting a date soon when I can get the keys to my new craft space, so I imagine, knowing me... I will keep them for myself!!

Saturday 3 August 2013

Hi Crafty friends, do you remember the sausage casserole I was making....my sons favourite, well it turns out it is Scooby's favourite too! Ahhhh, he needs a bath now though!

So on to some more crafting- We made this wall hanging again on Friday afternoon at Artworks, this is what Glenis made using the  distress inks, dyans dylusions inks, wax, the melting pot and the frantage flakes. YUMMY!!
Glenis got all inky (as usual) I didn't take photos of earlier classes, Dorothy got ink all up her arms, bless her!

Glenis got inky (as usual)

This one was made by Ella (Bella Boo) Her first time in the group- (hopefully not the last) A very talented young lady, Helped along by Jenny. The glass beads stuck to the dripped wax, lush!

Check out the one made by Jenny,  the distress ink colour blending is really clever here (although done randomly when laid onto the cardstock) when you carefully chose which piece to use, it can be amazing in its effect. Here it looks like there is going to be  storm or explosion (or is that just me)??

Off now to tidy my craft room so that I can make some more samples for coming weeks.
