Plus if you attend the taster session on Saturday 30th, during the street party, you will receive a voucher for 20% off a full future Thursday or Friday class. But,  only if  you book your place onto it on Saturday.

Friday 8 March 2013

I dont know about you, but the lack of sunshine is getting me down...  anyway, on to nice crafty things.
I was up till the early hours making a mess...I mean tidying my conservatory to fit this lovely piece of furniture in.. It ts probably best suited to the lounge, but I am never in there...im always in the conservatory even at night! so it is really the place I will see it and use it the most!

I know I am  being sad, but what can I say!?
See you soon, have a good weekend.xx Alli

Wednesday 6 March 2013

Hi again, well the sun HAS actually come out...I could take off one of my 5 layers!!!

Ive just had delivery of this amazing piece of furniture from
www.facebook.com/pages/Decor-Home-Gift

(This is where the new cardmaking class starts in 2 weeks)Tues 19/3/13 at 10.30-12.30.

I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it, as I often do with furniture, but normally manage to resist! Not this time!
So..... I bought it with the intention to put in to  my conservatory/craft space. It does seem a shame to fill it with paper and stamps though??

Anyway here is another peek of a card we will be doing this Friday at Artworks.

The tension has gone funny on the sewing on this card... but that might be because i dropped the machine putting it back in the car!! Whoops!!

Tuesday 5 March 2013

Good morning lovely blog friends, Well today we have the promise of sunshine! Im not convinced, as my fingers are freezing as I type this!
Anyway on to one of the cards for this weeks class. Not really my usual style, but I know Dorothy and Glenyis like distress inks and glimmer mists. I do too but I like to use them on bigger projects like a canvas!
Back later with more sneaky peeks. Have a good day. Alli.x

Here are some cards that we made ~ that I loved so much I have made a few more and have them for sale in a couple of local shops.

This is one of my favourite cards that I have ever made!!

The next is my other favourite!

They are really time consuming to make but I really do love them.... on to my next favourite, but a little easier to make! (Can I have 3 favourites?)

Hello again, I've just been looking at photographs on the pc again, and thought I would share some more of the photographs of a few cards we have made at the cardmaking group.

Apologies for the terrible photography!!
The sun has just come out in sunny Sawley so I am off to hang some washing out!!
See you soon!

Good morning blog land. Just a quickie today to share a simple yet effective card made by Julie S. on the Friday afternoon group (soon to be Thursday afternoon) in Beeston.

One day I will get around to blogging properly and list all of the ingredients/products needed to make these cards... but time will not allow at the moment.
If you notice inside the card, Julie used the waste greaseproof paper that we use to aid in the cutting of the butterfly die cuts (looks better than it sounds). It looks really pretty. It Really finishes this card off.  Well done Julie.
